- 1.
Your washing machine will probably have been supplied with a Hose Support Crook to help suspend the waste pipe on a wall at the required height. Attach this to your waste pipe before fixing it to the wall.
- 2.
The waste pipe needs to be elevated to a height of between 65cm and 100cm, this allows the waste water to drain away more efficiently and stop water being let back into the machine.
- 3.
Check there are no plug or blanking caps covering the end of the waste pipe or spigot connection.
- 4.
Connect the waste pipe by pushing it firmly on to the waste pipe spigot.
- 5.
If required, you can further secure a waste pipe to the drain connection using an appropriate sized jubilee clip.
